This position manages a group of accounts within the Managed Care Division, generating and managing annual revenues totaling between $.5 – 1.5 million.
Position Responsibilities:
1. Revenue Management: Accountable to meet/exceed annual Budget forecast. Revenue strategy: Identify sources of revenue, prepare, monitor and achieve budget and revenue expectations for the group of accounts. For new services, work with client to develop project approach and implementation plans; oversee development and implementation.Help grow base contracts by a minimum of 20% per year. Deliver reports showing progress against business goals.
2. Operations Management: Direct HMS contract operations, including Billing cycle scheduling, delivery and review. Disallowance processing. Cost avoidance policy management, including determining volumes of policies, quality standards, and frequency. Ensure client satisfaction and work within HMS standard operation.
3. Client Management: Ensure client satisfaction and achieve a 100% Client referral capability.
- Excellent planning and communication skills;
- Strong analytic ability – Excel and/or Access proficiency a must;
- Strong independent client skills, including expectation management, problem resolution, and opportunity development;
- Negotiation and collaboration ability – a ‘make it happen’ track-record;
- Ability to communicate and function within the team;
- Independent problem solving, client-related and internal/operational;
- 4 year degree required;
- MBA or healthcare related master’s degree a plus 2 years in account management, preferably in healthcare or financial services;
- Health care industry experience is a strong plus;
