Our campus is based in the welcoming suburb of Troy, Michigan, adjacent to major thoroughfares and accessible from all parts of the metro area. Here, students can enjoy the best of both worlds—the diversity and cultural environment of a major metropolis less than 25 miles away, and a quiet, safe campus with small classrooms and focused attention. Affordable housing, public transportation and nearby shopping malls allow students to live, commute and work nearby.
Cultural and educational resources include the Detroit Institute of Arts, a gem that is home to a multicultural and multinational collection that ranks among the top six in the United States. The museum covers 658,000 square feet that includes more than 100 galleries, a 1,150-seat auditorium, a 380-seat lecture/recital hall, an art reference library and a state-of-the-art conservation services laboratory.
Our mission is to prepare students with the education and confidence they need to pursue their potential in dynamic fields like fashion design, fashion merchandising, interior design, game production, graphic design, and digital media production. We train students to become creative problem-solvers with an understanding of how things work today and the foresight to imagine the possibilities of tomorrow.
