The BUCKLEY VETERINARY HOSPITAL opened it's doors in 1978 providing animal medical care in the South King County and Pierce County areas. In December of 1996 we moved to our beautiful new hospital on Hwy 410 in Buckley, expanding our abilities to meet the needs of our patients and their owners.

Our aim is to continue to provide our community with a compassionate and friendly environment with an emphasis on your pet receiving quality veterinary medicine at reasonable prices.

Providing extended hours, convenient drop-off appointments and walk-ins by availability, we make every effort to accommodate our customer's schedules.

Practice Owner

Dr. Wood is a northwest native, having grown up in Portland, Oregon. Starting out in the industry as a kennel technician, her combined love for medicine, animals and people is what sparked an interest in the veterinary field. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Washington, then headed east to the Washington state University College of Veterinary medicine, earning her doctorate in 2002.
