The Landmark Property was a wonderful place to stay. It was located so close to Times Square and yet hidden amongst lovely delis, a perfect combination for any stay in Manhattan. The property itself was great for 5 people with beds that folded away during the daytime to create lots of space. The historical elements of the apartment were fantastically explained by the very friendly landlord who greeted us upon arrival and was very flexible to our needs, even supplying us with a key to the side door so that we could come and go as we pleased without walking through the bar. Three of the other people that I stayed there with ate in the restaurant downstairs and reported that the food was lovely and the staff were very friendly. All in all an excellent property to stay in and somewhere that I will definitely be visiting again in the not too distant future! Thanks to all involved.

| It was my third trip to New York, the first for my daughter and my close friend. We were delighted and having stayed at hotels in New York (including the Marriot Marquis) I can definately say I would not stay anywhere but the Landmark apartment again! We enjoyed warm hospitality from all the staff at the Landmark Tavern upon our arrival and this continued throughout our entire stay. We loved having a real Irish Meal in Tavern too...It was delicious! We felt completely 'at home' and loved the character, convenience and comfort of the suite. Everything we needed in a place to stay was right there! Everything wanted...was close by. We saw the sights within very easy access, took in a Broadway show and saw a lot of culture within the nearby blocks. Our interaction with one of the owners and the staff at The Landmark Tavern, will definately be part of the special memories we keep from this holiday which marked my daughter's 21st birthday. Everyone helped to make it special time (even supplying the candles for the surprise Birthday Cake I had delivered from Brooklyn). The sofa bed could use a little mattress topper maybe...although it didn't keep my daughter from sleeping at all! The other beds were great! (I slept on the convertable day bed and it was fabulous!) The only downfall...which doesn't affect me...is that someone needing handicapped acessible space could take delight in this apartment--but then again...the building is charming because it is in original state! (And there were stairs everywhere we went). My only reluctance in writing this review is that I worry everyone will love it so much that it won't be available when I want to stay there again! And all of three of us plan to!
